Timeline and Eligibility
Registration for EMXC Youth 2023-2024 Season opens October 1st, 2023 for returning families. New Families may register starting on October 8th, 2023.
We encourage you to register early, as we have had to waitlist and close registration for the last few seasons due to high demand. As a reminder, active NENSA membership is a prerequisite for registration. NENSA memberships expire on April 30th and must be renewed annually.
Returning skiers that will be at least 11 years old on December 31 are eligible to participate in Fall Rollerski. Choose the "Returning Skiers ages 11-14 (as of December 31, 2023) + Fall Rollerski" category during registration. Fall Rollerski participants must register before October 16.

Scholarships
Ski equipment, club registration, and a season trail pass can add up. We have some scholarship opportunities for skiers who need them.
EMXC Youth can award a scholarships to defray the costs of participation in our youth skiing program. These scholarships can be used toward the costs of ski rental, ski pass at Weston Ski Track, and EMXC’s club registration.
Scholarships will be awarded based on financial need and commitment to the sport.
To apply for assistance, please send the following confidential information to the club director as early as possible. Please email youth@emxc.org and use the subject line "scholarship request" and include these details.
- History of involvement with cross country skiing and EMXC Youth
- Amount that you are able to contribute toward the cost of participation.
- Amount of aid requested for equipment, DCR’s Leo J Martin youth ski pass, club registration fee. (These total approximately $400.)
