Save the Date for the 2024 BKL Festival!
On March 2-3, 2024 the season finale for our youth skiers will take place at Rikert Outdoor Center in Middlebury Vermont. The theme is “Myths in the Mountains” and will be a celebration of fables in the wintry mountains.
Rikert is a fantastic, accessible location for the Festival! It hosts many large fun events like NENSA Women’s Day. Rikert is 3 ½ hours from the Weston Ski Track.
This is simply a Save the Date notice. For more information, see here.
At this time we expect Rikert to arrange a Festival dinner event on the Saturday evening of Festival weekend. We will communicate more details in the fall.
Many thanks to our local district chair (& Finland coach!) Sarah Holton for working with NENSA on this special event.
As a reminder the BKL Festival is one of multiple opportunities to use skiing skills for fun events like scavenger hunts on new terrain and team up to try to ski against the clock. The BKL Festival is for skiers from 1st and 2nd grade up to 8th grade, with 8th graders graduating from BKL on Sunday during the event.
