NENSA has posted a lot of information (schedules, parking, directions, restaurants) about the BKL Festival at Quarry Road Trails in Waterville, ME here
Pay close attention to the EMXC-specific Festival schedules for Saturday and Sunday. They tell you what time to drop off skis, and when skiers will leave for the course tours.

How to prepare:
- Complete this form to (1) let wax team know what equipment you will bring; (2) sign up for the team dinner; (3) share your contact info for communications during Festival
- Sign up for your volunteer role(s) (required)
- Sign up to bring food to share at Festival (required)
- Prep your skis -- full instructions here
- Pack your bags!
If you have an unexpected change of plans, please let us know if you are scratching your skier. This is especially important if your skier signed up for the relay, but won't be able to participate, PLEASE email Erica (youth@emxc.org) by Friday night. Please don't leave your EMXC Relay partners without their team mate!
What to bring:
- Prepared skis - all skis should be labeled, waxed, scraped, and brushed before leaving for Maine
- Race clothes and EMXC hats/buffs
- Extra warm clothes and boots to play in the snow, hand-warmers
- Snacks to share
- Adult skis
- Local maps downloaded and screen shots of EMXC Schedule
- Cowbells
- Water bottles or water belt
- Costumes or fun items for Saturday's parade
- Please leave pets at home
Plan to arrive at our EMXC tent about 2 hours before your skier's race to allow final wax prep and course tours. Allow ample time for parking and walking. Overfull parking is at the Maine Medical Satellite Parking (about a mile away), with shuttle buses running both days. See map.
Our EMXC tent is your home base for the weekend; pick up race bibs and goody bags there.
